RAMCO TEXTILES
From its humble beginning in 1938, the Ramco Group Textile Division has emerged as one of the most successful group of textile mills to symbolise an entity with strong commitment to quality, innovation, and customer satisfaction. It has been a pioneer in adopting state-of- the art technology. Today, Ramco Group Textile Division has a spindle capacity of around Four Hundred Thousand (400,000) with an annual turnover of around 175 million USD, deriving 60% of its turnover from exports.
The Brief
Ramco textiles has been the top producer for textiles for a while. This was their first dip into a corporate manufacturing video. The brief from the client was to shoot video about their history, their equipment, textile distribution and CSR initiatives. Our team went to Rajapalyam for a reccee to produce a script and final deliverables for the Client.
The Execution
The shoot was scheduled after the approval of the written script to the detail. A detailed schedule was made with 7 days of shoot in mind for the scale of the production.
Our team went to Rajapalyam from Pune, The crew included 2 Videographers, 1 Drone pilot, 2 Photographers and a Shoot Co-ordinator.
The production was completed in 5 days , and approvals on the edit were started. The factory was shot in detail and every aspect of the company was carefully introduced, keeping in mind the history of the brand.
The Output
This post production was a challenge, The video initially was planned to be within 5 mins. Due to the detailed script and amount of data that was gathered the first cut of the video was around 11 mins. It was a challenge to cut footage that was very important in multiple ways.
The final cut of the video was delivered within 15 days of the shoot with online motion graphics.
